Culinary students in Moore prepare for gingerbread house contest

Culinary students at Platt College in Moore are preparing for a gingerbread house contest that will be held as part of Moore's Christmas in Old Town on Friday.

The students begin their gingerbread house dough from scratch, using patterns to design the houses. The contest is part of a fundraiser for Aging Services, which provides services to senior citizens.

The contest will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Moore Library, 225 S Howard Ave.
