A man accused of stomping and kicking a woman to death was sentenced Friday to life in prison without parole, authorities reported.

Benjamin Andrew Littlesun, 23, pleaded guilty in the December killing of Cushing resident Ava Marie King, 45, court records show. Friday's sentence was handed down in Payne County District Court.

Littlesun told investigators he met King in a bar and after they had a sexual encounter in his truck, he offered her a ride home, court documents show. She slapped him in the face then he punched her and stomped and kicked her about 20 times while wearing work boots, he told investigators.
