Daddy's got a brand-new bag – for diapers

So many products, so many stores. Who among us really has the time to get out there and shop for fashion and beauty like we want to?

Occasionally, we'll ditch our Jimmy Choo heels (OK, maybe they're Nine West) in favor of a pair of Nike running shoes (OK, they're actually made for walking) to seek out the new, the unusual and even the great stuff that shows up in InStyle magazine and on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

The best news: It's at a store near you.

Cool dad
If Brad Pitt carries a diaper bag, it's probably something like Daddy's Tool Bag.

The masculine, stylish diaper bag is made with new fathers in mind. It comes with a 45-minute DVD offering plenty of advice, from caring for a new baby, to diapering and bathing to clipping tiny fingernails.

It also includes a changing mat, emergency number card and a packing list card that suggests "tools" to pack in Daddy's Tool Bag. Cost is about $40. It's available at More Than Dreams, 8263 S Harvard, Tulsa.

OK, girl
Sometimes, a T-shirt says it best.

Consider Festa Stuff's new "Oklahoma girl" shirt, with its to-the-point exclamations -- "prairie-raised, tornado-dodging, sooner-loving, super-fun, super-cool, all-American" and the tag line "you better believe we're OK, baby."

Festa Stuff, a Chicago company, offers dozens of similar shirts, including "East Coast girl," "California girl" and "Road Trip girl."

Cost is $29, and it's available at Estella Rays, 275 34th Ave. SW in Norman.

Soft lips
Lips can really get dry this time of year. To the rescue comes Rimmel Rich Moisture Cream Lipstick, which offers a whipped cream texture that practically melts onto the lips.
