Dan Bailey just got paid.

And not just kicker paid. How about "more than $3 million a year" paid.

The Dallas Cowboys announced an extension for the former Oklahoma State kicker through 2020, paying him a deal that will grade out a "a little more than $3 million per season," according to dallascowboys.com.

Last season, the top eight salaries among NFL kickers were between $2.95 and $3.73 million.

The Mustang native has been one of the most consistent players for Dallas since arriving in 2011 as an undrafted free agent. Bailey converted his last 21 field goals of the 2013 season and finished the year 28 of 30, including 6-of-7 from 50 yards or more.
