The Dallas Cowboys finally won a game comfortably.

The Cowboys entered Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams having won or lost 11 straight games by four points or less.

Sunday, Dallas beat the Rams 34-7.

“It was nice,” quarterback Tony Romo said. “We haven't played a game like that in a while. ... I felt like the guys played hard.”

The last game that wasn't decided by four points or less was on Nov. 21, 2010, in a 35-19 home win over the Detroit Lions.

The Dallas Cowboys cut guard Montrae Holland before the 2011 season opener, but he was re-signed Tuesday.

Sunday, he was in the starting lineup.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones called Holland the player he was most impressed by.

“He was outstanding,” Jones said. “It was unbelievable that he can come in and play the entire game.

“He made some outstanding blocks, so Montrae kind of had my game ball.”

Holland is in his ninth NFL season. He spent his first four with the New Orleans Saints, one with the Broncos and has been with the Cowboys since 2008. He has 51 career starts.
