Damien Williams out of Sooners game against Tulsa

by Ryan Aber Published: September 14, 2013

Senior running back Damien Williamswho ran for 95 yards last week over West Virginia, is not dressed for Saturday’s game against Tulsa.

Williams ran for 946 yards past season as a junior.

He hadn’t started either of the Sooners first two games but carried 37 times, sharing time with starter Brennan Clay.

Two Sooners who were injured last week–left tackle Tyrus Thompson and cornerback Aaron Colvin–are suited out.

Thompson started after suffering an ankle injury late last week. Colvin did not play early as freshman Stanvon Taylor made his first career start.
