Dan Dierdorf, who retired this season after 43 consecutive years in the NFL as a Hall of Fame player and broadcaster, will be interviewed on the CBS Sports Network’s interview series “ONE2ONE” at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Greg Gumbel, his CBS broadcast partner, talks to Dierdorf about his 13-year playing career with the St. Louis Cardinals, his 30 years as an NFL broadcaster working with top announcers including Dick Enberg, Verne Lundquist, Al Michaels, Frank Gifford, Dick Stockton, and Jack Buck, as well as his upbringing in Canton, Ohio — only a few blocks from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, where he is now enshrined.
Gumbel also will be a special correspondent for “That Other Pregame Show” on CBS Sports Network this week leading up to Super Bowl XLVIII. He sits down for interviews with former players and coaches throughout the week, including five-time Pro Bowl cornerback Troy Vincent, seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Andre Reed and Pro Football Hall of Famer Franco Harris.
CBS Sports Network is available nationwide, including Cox Communications (249 and 717), DirectTV Channel 221 and DISH Network Channel 158.
