Danny Granger, Josh McRoberts agree to deals with Miami Heat Published: July 7, 2014

With or without a commitment from LeBron James, Chris Bosh or Dwyane Wade, the Miami Heat is putting together its team.

The Heat came agreed to terms with free agents Danny Granger and Josh McRoberts on Monday. Granger played last season with the Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Clippers, while McRoberts was on the Charlotte Bobcats team the Heat swept in four games in the first round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs.

Both aren't the big splashes in free agency most were expecting from the Heat, but the Eastern Conference champions are working to put together some semblance of a team around the Big 3 of James, Bosh and Wade. Before Granger and McRoberts agreed to deals, the only Heat player under contract for next season was point guard Norris Cole.
