Zuhdi, known as Darla Z, is an Oklahoma native who regularly performs in Las Vegas. She recently released her first album, "All About Love," featuring six original songs.
"I was very pleased to be back from Vegas, but I'm particularly excited about the show for Kramer School of Nursing," she said. "This honorable profession deserves recognition for the many lives it has saved and improved. It feels good to give something back to a group of people who dedicate themselves to helping the rest of us."
The concert will include a tribute to wartime nurses from World War II to the present day. Comedian Ann Lacy will be a special guest.
Zuhdi made her live singing debut opening for Willie Nelson. She also has opened for Wayne Newton.
At OCU, she will perform with her conductor, pianist and musical arranger Bob Rozario. Rozario was Bobby Darin's pianist and conductor for many years. He has worked with the Osmonds, Tony Orlando, Vic Damone and other well-known entertainers.
Tickets are $35 for reserved seating and $100 for reserved platinum seating. Group rates are available. To buy tickets, call (800) 595-4849 or 408-3599.
