On Kevin Durant relying on the three-point shot this season:
He's already taken seven more 3-pointers this year than he did last season. And there's still 10 games left to play. AND if he plays each of the remaining 10, he'll still be four shy of last year, when he played all 82 games. The numbers have been shocking. He seems to have diversified his game much more in his fourth season. But his 3-point attempts are staggering.
On whether Russell Westbrooks is a "ball hog:"
If you look at the numbers, no. He's averaging eight-plus assists. But that's why I hate looking at stats sometimes. Watch how he dominates the ball and calls his own number throughout the game and it's hard to not draw that conclusion. He's been great at times and he deserves credit. But ironically it seems the more he scores and calls his own number and does all this impressive stuff, the more it seems he has a long way to go in terms of figuring out what being a floor leader is all about.
