On the Nuggets' hot start to Game 1 and the Thunder's defense:
I think nerves had a little to do with it to start out. The Thunder was a little too jacked up and the Nuggets came out hot. But Nene had it going and the Thunder didn't have an answer. Then the Nuggets' point guards and shooters were able to do their thing after Nene got rolling. It snowballed. But the encouraging thing is the Thunder got it together in the fourth quarter when it mattered most.
On the possibility of Russell Westbrook playing alongside Eric Maynor:
Not sure why he would. What sense does it make to play into the hands of the opponent? Stick with the length and the size advantages you have. Make their shots tougher by contesting them with size and strength. And out-rebound the heck out of them when they do that two point guard lineup.
On the difference between the fans at the Oklahoma City Arena compared to last year's Game 3 vs. the Lakers.:
The game had its moments. I'd say the fans were more jacked last year, though. And rightfully so. Last year, the Thunder faced an 0-2 hole when the home fans saw the Thunder for the first time. This year, it was even at 0-0 and the expectation is for the Thunder to win. My biggest gripe is that the fans are too reactionary. It's never really loud in there unless someone makes a big play or the Thunder is on a run.
