Data danger not foreseen for Oklahoma teachers

An official with the Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation said Tuesday it appears teachers’ personal information was not accessed on a stolen server.

The server, which was recovered last month, appears not to have been turned on since it was stolen, said Ted Gillispie, commission director. The server was taken out of use in March 2007 and may have been stolen later.
