ATLANTA, Ga. — DC Entertainment pushed two major initiatives at the ComicsPRO membership meeting in Atlanta, Ga.

The first is a push of weekly series in 2014.  ”Batman: Eternal” and “The New 52: Future’s End” will be joined by a third title in October, the title as yet unrevealed.

“We are going to have another weekly series kicking off in October that will be set in the current DCU timeline that will have direct implications on what’s happening with the ‘five years later’ storyline. And you’ll see a level of connectivity that I think will help really bring into focus where we see the future of the DCU heading,” DC co-publisher Dan DiDio told Newsarama.

Another push will be the return of lenticular covers in a September line-wide event featuring a five-year flash forward.

More information about the September event, and a mockup of a cover, can also be found at Newsarama.
