Dead Armadillo is taking full advantage of its brewing/packaging partnership with Roughtail Brewing, and the proof is in their plans for the next few months.
I had a chance to catch up with Dead Armadillo manager partner Tony Peck recently, and he said the company is gearing up for a busy stretch.
For starters, just yesterday, Dead Armadillo received a neat shipment:
That is row upon row of DA Amber cans, ready to be filled. Peck tells me the cans will likely ship out to liquor stores by the end of the month, or possibly by early 2014.
On the heels of that shipment, DA is expecting an early January seasonal release, a coffee stout. Peck says that beer will be packaged in 22 oz. bottles, similar to Black Hop.
And DA is expecting a return to cans in the spring, Peck said, with its IPA.
Meanwhile, Peck said DA is working hard toward a goal of having its own brewhouse up and running, citing the difficulties involved with scheduling for two busy beer companies in one building.
