If you like your comedies served dry then you’ll have a heaping helping during “The Trip to Italy.”

The movie stars Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon as they wine, dine and snark their way through a road trip in Italy. If you don’t believe me then check out the trailer. DeadCENTER announced this morning that the screening kicks off the 14th annual deadCENTER Film festival 8 p.m. June 12 at the OKCMOA. Just FYI, you’ll have to be deadCENTER pass holder to get into this screening.

“The Trip to Italy” is actually a second serving for Michael Winterbottom. He directed Coogan and Brydon on a similar adventure in “The Trip.” Also, it’s worth noting Winterbottom directed the brutal, dark film “The Killer Inside Me,” which was filmed throughout Oklahoma.

Enjoy all the killer impressions from “The Trip” while you wait for deadCENTER. Throw some headphones on if you’re at work because the language gets a little dicey.
