We’re still interested in how much you love where you work.
The deadline is now Aug. 22 to nominate your employer — or someone else’s employer — for Top Workplaces 2014, The Oklahoman’s annual ranking of the state’s companies or nonprofits with the best work atmosphere, opportunities, benefits and perks.
Any type of employer is eligible, from nonprofits to government agencies to firms that are private or public. The only qualifications are that it must be operating in Oklahoma and have at least 35 employees.
If your organization is nominated and agrees to participate, employees will be surveyed by our independent partner, WorkPlace Dynamics LLC. Responses are confidential.
The top-ranking workplaces will be featured in a special section published in The Oklahoman in December.
Last year, we learned about a lot of different strategies employers use to create a great workplace. Among the top-ranked companies were varied types of businesses, including Encompass Home Health, Paycom, Canadian Valley Technology Center and EOG Resources.
We are ahead of last year’s pace in gathering participating organizations, but we know there are more success stories to tell.
If you work at such a place, or even know of one, you can nominate it as one of Oklahoma’s Top Workplaces. Anyone can suggest a company — employees, interns, customers or even the boss.
