Students at Deer Creek Intermediate School showed off their hard work and creativity Thursday in the school's annual Invention Convention. In the event, students apply knowledge and skills they learned in class to solve everyday problems. Some of the inventions featured were an umbrella that covers a person head to toe and, above, Madison and Landon Schulz's light-up door mat.
