A lot of players have been given credit for it, but Julian Wilson started the run of college offers to Southmoore football players.
Wilson, a track star and defensive back, received a scholarship offer from the University of Oklahoma before his senior season even began. After an impressive showing at the OU camp, the Sooners had seen enough to know they wanted the 6-3, 184-pounder on a future roster.
