NORMAN — Oklahoma had 29 recruits commit to play for the Sooners. Over a year ago, Daniel Noble became the first.

The 6-4, 275-pound defensive tackle from Flower Mound, Texas, committed in January 2009, giving the Sooners added depth on the defensive line. Of the 29 commits, four are defensive tackles.

"I like how it's in a small town, it's an easy place to get used to, family-oriented, and I like the coaches," Noble told the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram.

Rivals.com ranks Noble as the No. 32 defensive tackle in America and the No. 62 overall prospect in Texas.

Oklahoma beat out Arizona, Auburn, Stanford, Texas and Texas Tech for Noble's services.
