Del City advances behind Toni Young
EDMOND — Norman has done a good job of shutting down Del City ’s Toni Young throughout most of her stellar career.
Young finally broke through Thursday night. She scored a game-high 20 points to lead Del City to a 47-39 win against Norman that advanced Del City to the Class 6A state tournament.
Norman had defeated Del City in the previous two meetings this season.
