Del City community shows support at Armed Forces Day parade

Del City's nearly two-hour long Armed Forces Day parade featured military veterans, local leaders and dignitaries.

— Applauding and cheering, paradegoers lined the streets Saturday morning to show their support for America's military at the city's Armed Forces Day and Shriners Parade.

Now in its 27th year, the parade is one of the largest ongoing parades in the state, organizers said. Community leaders, veterans and others worked their way along the parade route for nearly two hours.
