Boeing 's decision to move up to 1,000 jobs to Oklahoma City , on top of a previously-announced 550 jobs, ranks it as one of the top economic development coups locally in the past 30 years. By the time this entire transaction is complete, Boeing's local presence, including its pre-existing workforce, could top 2,300 employees.
