LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Dense fog in central Arkansas has caused all airlines to cancel flights in and out of Little Rock's airport.

The fog lifted for a time Tuesday afternoon and some flights were able to land. But Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport spokesman Shane Carter says that the fog returned after sunset Tuesday and airlines decided to cancel the flights at least through early Wednesday morning.

More than two dozen flights were canceled Tuesday and numerous others were delayed. Carter says flights were diverted to a number of other airports.

The fog is forecast to linger into Wednesday and people with morning flights are advised to check with their carriers before traveling to the airport.
