The Oklahoma City Thunder expect about five out of every six season ticket-holders to renew their seats for the team's second season.

Senior vice president of ticket sales and service Brian Byrnes say Wednesday the team is thrilled with the renewal rate of about 83 percent, considering the state of the economy.

During the week, the Thunder have been offering season ticket-holders the chance to change their seats. On Friday, the remaining season tickets will go on sale.

Byrnes says the Ford Center's capacity will drop by about 900 seats as part of an ongoing renovation that will add new luxury seating areas and restaurants.

The team still expects to sell the same number of season tickets and hold others for group sales, partial season plans and single games.
