The North American International Auto Show opens to the public Saturday. Here are some of the details.
WHAT: The North American International Auto Show, held in downtown Detroit, is one of the biggest and most important car shows in the world. It's expected to attract more than 800,000 visitors this year.
WHERE: Cobo Center
WHEN: Jan. 18-26, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day except the last Sunday, when the show closes at 7 p.m.
COST: $13 for adults, $7 for seniors and children 7-12; children 6 and under are free
WHAT YOU'LL SEE: More than 500 vehicles from every major automaker, spread over 1 million square feet. Fifty vehicles are debuting at the show, including Ford's new F-150 pickup; the Toyota FT-1 sports car concept; the Mercedes C-Class; the Hyundai Genesis; the Chrysler 200; and the Corvette Z06.
