Devon impacts Oklahoma City economy

An economic impact study released Friday forecasts Devon Energy ’s downtown work force will more than double within the next decade.

The study by Phoenix -based Applied Economics, commissioned by the Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Authority , also predicts Devon Energy’s local economic impact will jump from $760.4 million in 2008 to $954.4 million when the company’s corporate headquarters is complete...
