Dez Bryant once paid $55,000 for team dinner as a rookie Published: June 3, 2014

Dez Bryant is entering the final year of his rookie contract, and he's shared some of the cringe-worthy details of the earliest days of that contract, according to Yahoo Sports.

Bryant signed a five-year deal in 2010 with $8.6 milion guaranteed, and made waves when he declined to carry receiver Roy Williams' shoulder pads, as is rookie custom.

"I'm not doing it," Bryant said at the time. "I feel like I was drafted to play football, not carry another player's pads."
