SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The Arizona Diamondbacks activated outfielder Mark Trumbo from the disabled list and put the slugger into their lineup for Friday night's game against the San Francisco Giants.

Trumbo batted .458 with five home runs and 12 RBIs in seven rehab games.

To make room, the Diamondbacks optioned outfielder Roger Kieschnick to Triple-A Reno.
