The Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy was opened in 1979 and houses about 1,200 male inmates in a medium-security setting. Programs include literacy training and substance abuse treatment. The prison was named for R.B. “Dick” Conner, a longtime Oklahoma lawman.
