Oh how quickly things can get around these days.

Kevin Durant did a short interview with CineSport’s Noah Coslov on Tuesday, and within the brief conversation, Kevin Durant was asked about Sports Illustrated’s recent rankings of top-10 players in the NBA. Here’s the magazine’s list:

1. LeBron James
2. Kevin Durant
3. Chris Paul
4. Tony Parker
5. Russell Westbrook
6. Tim Duncan
7. Dwight Howard
8. Dwyane Wade
9. Kobe Bryant
10. Carmelo Anthony

Coslov asked Durant if anyone was missing from the list.

Durant quickly mentioned an ex-teammate: “I think you’re missing James Harden.”

Durant’s response: “Dwyane Wade”

Late Tuesday, he sent out this message on Instagram:

Literally less than five minutes later, Durant sent out this message on Twitter:

Ah, a cross-platform digital beef between two of the NBA’s biggest superstars. And you thought the Thunder-Heat matchups couldn’t get more interesting…
