Dirk Nowitzki's ex denied lower bond, says she had January miscarriage
ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- A Missouri judge on Monday morning denied a request to lower the $25,000 cash-only bond in a decade-old case for Cristal Taylor , the ex-fiancee of Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki .
Taylor did not appear in court in St. Charles County , located about 30 miles west of St. Louis . But her attorney, Matthew Fry , argued that she should be released because she is pregnant.
