The Dirty Dozen Brass Band is scheduled to headline Jazz in June's “Jazz in the Park” on June 22 at Andrews Park, 201 W Daws St.

For more than three decades, the band has produced a lively sound. The band's latest CD, “Twenty Dozen,” features a blending of such genres as R&B, jazz and funk, plus Afro-Latino grooves, some Caribbean flavor and even a Rihanna cover. Baritone sax player Roger Lewis calls “Twenty Dozen” classic Dirty Dozen.

“It's got something for your mind, body and soul,” he said in the release. “We're gonna get you one way or another.”

Guitar great Duke Robillard is scheduled to headline “Blues Under the Stars” on June 20 at Brookhaven Village, 3700 W Robinson St.

Called “one of the great (guitar) players” by B.B. King, Robillard has played alongside such music legends as Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and Jimmy Witherspoon.
