Discover Oklahoma: Pioneer museum salutes women musicians

For more than half a century, the Pioneer Woman Museum in Ponca City has found innovative ways to honor Oklahoma women who have pioneered the development of Oklahoma since the land runs of 1889 and the early 1890s.

The museum’s dedication in 1958 stemmed from the intent of E.W. Marland.
