Discovering new music at Punk Rock Tuesdays

Punk Rock Tuesday at The Drunken Fry turned into high-energy experience.

Once Your Mom started its set, everything changed. Guys in leather jackets, cargo shorts, one in a business shirt and tie, all crowded the front row to get in the middle of lead singer Joel Simmons’ insane stage performance. He wears a dress, combat boots, and full make-up. He screams atrocities of the pains of being a server at a restaurant, expresses his hate for the 918, all while being anything but feminine. I decided to step out of my front-row spot around song three; barstools and beer were flying through the air at this point. As a lover of classic punk rock I really enjoyed Punk Rock Tuesdays, I will definitely be back. Follow The Drunken Fry on Twitter for show updates.
