Discovery of altered genes may aid lupus knowledge
Some proteins fail to control immunity for sufferers of disease.

Researchers Patrick Gaffney and Kathy Moser of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation have discovered a variation in a particular gene that may lead to many of the immune system problems in people suffering from lupus.
