Discovery of asbestos displaces Adams pupils

An asbestos discovery has forced more than 500 Adams Elementary students to attend classes at Roosevelt Middle School.

Students were bused to Roosevelt on Tuesday and will attend class there until state Labor Department officials determine Adams is safe for students and teachers, said Kathleen Kennedy , spokeswoman for the Oklahoma City School District.
