Disorder discussed after Fort Hood shooting
As alleged Fort Hood shooter Maj. Nidal Hasan recovers from his injuries, and the nation mourns the 13 dead from Nov. 5 massacre, many are left wondering why the soldier would take aim at his colleagues. Experts speculate that the answer involves post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), a mental health condition experienced commonly by veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
