Two other juniors who give the Vikings a chance to be far better in 2010 are Aron Gaines and Trevyone Willis. The wide receiver duo combined for 60 catches, 790 yards and seven touchdowns last year.

Can anyone challenge Millwood?

Millwood was the obvious choice as the predicted team to win District 2A-2. The Falcons feature two nationally rated players in Josh Turner and Kevonte Richardson and a wealth of experience. Twenty-five of 34 varsity players from 2009 were underclassmen.

Making matters worse for foes is the fact that the Falcons are driven to win a state crown after falling short last year. A 27-12 loss to Kingfisher in the Class 2A semifinals ended a 12-2 season that saw Millwood average nearly 35 points per game.
