The Dragons have seven starters returning on offense and their team leader, junior quarterback Cole Swayze.

Swayze has back-to-back seasons of 1,000 rushing yards, and he excels on the track as well. He placed fourth in the 100 meters and fifth in the 200 meters at the Class 3A state track meet in May.

Big 12 schools Missouri, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State have shown interest in the class of 2012 recruit, with Oklahoma State already offering him a scholarship.

The defensive side of the ball is where Purcell could have trouble though.

"They're young and inexperienced, but they are pretty fast," Wilson said. "We're going to put a lot of fast guys on the field, but they aren't going to have any game experience."
