District 3A-2 notebook: Madill trio has coach Kerry Roberts looking for big things

ROBERT PRZYBYLO Published: August 21, 2009
In his first year, Bethany coach Reagan Roof might have not been sure what exactly he had in quarterback Silas Day.

That’s not the case this season as Day enters the season as one of most highly touted signal-callers in the state.

Day led all of Class 3A in passing yards last season and at 6-foot-4, is one of the taller quarterbacks. Roof said Day has only improved with experience.
