Youth will have to grow up for Tipton

Tipton coach Jim Kerbo knows it might be rough early in the season as 17 of his 26 players are freshmen or sophomores.

That doesn’t mean he’s discounting his team’s chances, though.

"We’re going to be really young, but we have some talent. We’ll have to stay healthy,” Kerbo said.

One leader the team will have is running back Kendall Luckett. The senior may be one of the biggest difference-makers in the district.
