Dog thrown from Oklahoma County bridge to undergo second surgery

A German shepherd thrown from an Oklahoma County interstate bridge is recovering from injuries but will have to undergo another surgery, according to KOCO.com.


The station reports the latest surgery is because one of his bones isn’t growing.

Authorities found the dog in December after it had been thrown from the Interstate 40 bridge over SE 59 in eastern Oklahoma County.

A tag on the dog’s collar reads “Rookie.”
