Dogs rescued in Oklahoma City adjust to new homes

Dozens of dogs and puppies are adapting to new homes after being removed from cramped, unsanitary conditions at an Oklahoma City puppy mill and a Norman house.

Most of the 78 dogs and puppies that animal control workers rescued July 23 have been adopted by new owners or placed in foster homes.

They are adjusting well, animal welfare officials from Oklahoma City and Norman said.
