Domestic dispute in Midwest City leaves 1 woman dead, another injured

Police are searching for Reginald Lancaster, 48, in connection with the death early Wednesday of Waynetta Roberson in Midwest City. Lancaster is described as a 5-foot-5 black male, weighing 205 pounds with short, black hair.

One woman died and another was injured early Wednesday in a domestic dispute, police reported.

Police are searching for Reginald Lancaster, 48, in connection with the death of Waynetta Roberson.

Officers responded about 3:30 a.m. to 6002 Will Rogers Road and found Roberson lying unresponsive in the parking lot, according to court documents. Officers spoke with Cheniqua Tappin, who said Lancaster attacked Roberson then her.

The women were taken to OU Medical Center, where Roberson died.

Tappin was listed in good condition Wednesday, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Lancaster is a 5-foot-5 black male, weighing 205 pounds with short hair.
