Poultry industry donates to state department monitoring pollution
A donation from an association that represents poultry producers across Oklahoma is paying to keep two scientists on the job at the state Department of Agriculture , Food and Forestry.
Poultry Federation officials say the donation keeps a soil analysis program in place so farmers can continue to spread phosphorus-rich chicken waste on their land as fertilizer.
