Douglass’ Dameko Doddles verbally committed to Wyoming on Wednesday, Trojans coach Willis Alexander told The Oklahoman.

Doddles is ranked No. 24 on The Oklahoman’s Super 30 and his lone scholarship offer came from the Cowboys.

It is unclear whether Doddles will play receiver or safety at Wyoming after excelling his junior season at both positions for Douglass. He caught five touchdown passes and also rushed for one, while totaling 49 tackles and two interceptions to lead the Trojans to the Class 4A semifinals.

Doddles becomes the latest Oklahoma standout to commit to a Division I university after Broken Arrow’s Markale Moses verbally committed to Army earlier this week.

Verbal commitments are non-binding. Doddles and Moses cannot sign until Feb. 4.
