EDMOND — A few raindrops and dark skies on Friday didn't keep the 33rd annual Downtown Edmond Arts Festival from getting under way.
“There were about three sprinkles, but no rain,” Bryanne Wallace, arts festival co-director, said Friday. “It is nice and we have a terrific crowd.”
Thirty of the 120 artists are new to the festival this year.
The festival features live entertainment, a Chalk the Walk at 2 p.m. Saturday and lots of food.
It is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
