Dredge lakes and recycle river water

While Oklahoma City lakes are low, millions of cubic yards of dirt should be removed from their bottoms to substantially increase their capacity. Lake Overholser could easily be enlarged to the north of old Route 66. Of course, like everything else the city does, some high-dollar scientist would first be hired to study it for 10 years or so. Something the city could do is recycle water being released out of the last dam on the Oklahoma River. Just pump it back upstream. That would probably justify another high-dollar scientist and a 10-year study.
