Drunken driver gets 5-year prison term for hitting pedestrians in Oklahoma City

A drunken driver with a prior record who struck three pedestrians as they crossed the street was sentenced Wednesday to five years in prison.

Alexis Noel Steenbergen, 30, pleaded guilty in November to a charge of causing an accident resulting in great bodily injury while driving under the influence. She received the maximum punishment allowed.
