U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister, R-Swartz, said Tuesday that "Duck Dynasty" star Willie Robertson will be his special guest at Tuesday night's (January 28) State of the Union address, according to NOLA.com.
Willie is the son of family patriarch Phil Robertson, who got suspended briefly from the A&E Duck Dynasty reality show after making disparaging remarks about gays and blacks in a GQ magazine interview. The network later reinstated him after protests by fans of the show and others who said the suspension ran afoul of the First Amendment.
